Spa Party!

During the bleak days of winter, it becomes the perfect time to host a sizzling spa party! With snowflakes in the air and darkness that descends at too early of an hour, this particular February Thursday evening raised the temperatures for eight lovely ladies as they were treated to a luxurious spa experience followed by an elegant dinner party!

 

The Invitation

The fun all began in January when the ladies received their invitations to a spa party that was to be a surprise for the special birthday girl. MUM was the word and yet, the invite held a bit of suspense for those invited, too! They were to watch the mail for a special package that would be arriving soon!

YES, the invite is an important piece of the party puzzle - it creates the excitement that is to follow. Even the stamp can send an underlying message. Don't discard the importance of the invitation as the care taken to create the invite will surely be the results of positive RSVPs!

The ladies soon received a beautifully gift wrapped box in the mail that included a plush white robe with their name monogramed in a Barbie Pink thread and a snazzy pair of pajamas from Victoria Secret. The enclosure card said, "NOW you don't have to worry about what to wear to the spa party - please come dressed in these pajamas and robe!"

HOW fun is it to extend the excitement of the initial invitation with a follow up gift! ...and wait, the fun just got started!!!

The Ultimate Spa Experience

As the ladies filed into Adore Nails and Spa on Merrill Street in Birmingham, Michigan, they quickly shed their street shoes for a pair of pedi socks and flip flops for those amazing pedicures. The beatuiful new spa indulged each lady with a manicure and a pedicure...total relaxation that included a bonus foot massage.

 

 

Crafty hands-on project

To further remove the chill of winter, a hands-on craft table was set up and when not indulging in a beauty treat, the ladies created a larger than life paper flower to take home with them...surely this would encourage the arrival of an early spring! Paper Source's flower kit allowed each to bring home a bouquet of flowers to decorate their rooms at home.

An Elegant Dining Experience

All that pampering can make a gal hungry! When the mani-pedis were done, the limo whisked the ladies over to the Townsend Hotel for a special dining experience. While the spa treats were going on, the Townsend along with the help of Bellisario Florist and Special Events Rental set a beautiful table for the ultimate finale of the evening!
