Dear Carolyn,
A thousand thank yous to you for everything!! Without you, I don't know how we would've accomplished it all...and with such grace and beauty! You and your team were so wonderful to work with - and all that you did is truly and forever appreciated!

Everything about our wedding day was absolutely a dream come true, from all the planning, details and wonderful recommendations! It has been the utmost pleasure and honor to have worked with you and your team - and your staff and all of the vendors are some of the nicest people (and talented, too!) that I've ever encountered. Every moment and detail was never forgotten by you...including the fabulous mariachi band! WOW! We truly can't thank you enough.

I do hope our paths will cross again, as I miss our meetings and all of the planning fun! But thank you, thank you, thank you for everything!

Warmest Regards,
Kim and Anthony

Just one last request!

To EVERYONE'S surprise there was music in the street as this charming bride and groom came down the aisles of St. Aloysius Catholic Church! The music had been a request from the bride only a few days prior to the event - it was to be a last minute surprise she wanted to give to her groom; however,  to no avail, there just didn't seem to be a band available at such a late date!

At the rehearsal, I mentioned my dismay of not being able to fulfill this final request from the dearest of brides when my wonderful assistant, Dave, took up the baton and ran with it! By 7:30PM that evening we had TWO bands to choose from. By contacting local Mexican resturants, he discovered some possible musicians and the details were set in motion...rocky motion...but in motion.

There was dancing in the streets of Detroit!

No one knew if this unknown, untried  band of musicians would really show up; they didn't seem familiar with the venue, they had never heard of The China Closet event group and  we had never heard of them...only to add there was a small issue with language...so just in case we had our solo violinist ready to escort the bride and groom if need be! On all accounts, we were ready - for what, we were not really sure!

As it is with weddings, magic is a big part of the day!  I personally am a big believer in karma - so being that this client was nothing short of delightful, I was 99% certain that all would work out perfectly!

A parade to start the celebration!

The mariache band showed up and wowed the crowd! They were better than anyone could have hoped for! Since we were not exactly sure how this detail was going to play out - we didn't tell the bride about this possible new group, so she thought she would hear the strings of the violin as the church doors opened. It was double the fun to see her expression; Kimberly was just as surprised as her groom, Anthony! Then one by one - all the guests had that same experience of delight as they exited the church!

Magic was definately part of this glorious day and there was dancing in the streets, strangers honking horns and joining in the fun, pedistarians tapping their toes... love was in the air!
